Fully automated system for Circulating Tumour Cells (CTC). It is mainly used for molecular analyses and diagnostic assays of cancer cells. Using microfluidic technology, centrifugal force is applied at high speeds to swing the blood sample and make the cancer cells bigger. This allows for quick diagnostic and detection of cancer. An EMI coating is applied in the inner walls of the system, all done in our facility. This prevents electromagnetic interference to its surroundings.
Fun fact: 90% of the system is developed, fabricated, and manufactured in Singapore, with our Singapore Medtech Consortium members.
With 30+ years of experience in the MedTech industry,
we strive to bring more value to our customers. As seen, there are a few prototypes being fabricated before it was finalised. Racer can be deeply involved in our customer’s innovation journey by re-configuring and re-designing the whole system to make it more user-friendly and cost effective. The microfluidic chip used in this system was also designed by us. It is to replace the old design that was complicated and challenging for mass manufacturing. We turned it into an easier, yet more effective collection of circulating tumour cells (CTC) with the use of centrifugal force.
