Electronics manufacturing presents unique risks related to solder joint integrity, component sensitivity, and electrostatic discharge (ESD). These risks are managed through defined process controls, including solder paste management, controlled reflow profiles, ESD protection, and full component traceability. Critical process parameters are continuously monitored to prevent latent defects that could impact long-term device reliability.
Quality assurance is supported through automated optical inspection (AOI), in-process verification, and functional testing to enable early defect detection and effective root cause analysis. All process changes are governed through structured change control, and equipment is qualified to ensure sustained process capability and repeatable performance.
OUR SMT LINE
Racer’s Smart EMS line in Singapore delivers high precision, high reliability electronics manufacturing for medical and advanced applications. Designed with full automation and intelligent process control, our facility supports seamless production from prototyping to mass production.
Our fully integrated SMT line covers the complete manufacturing process, including automated loading, solder paste printing, SPI inspection, high speed pick-and-place, controlled reflow soldering, and AOI inspection. This closed-loop system ensures consistent quality, minimizes defects, and maximizes yield.
With a capacity of up to 80,000 placement points per hour, our line supports PCB sizes up to 510mm × 350mm and both rigid and flex PCBs up to 8 layers. High placement accuracy (±30µm) enables us to meet the stringent requirements of precision critical industries such as medical devices.
Built for scalability, our Singapore EMS facility enables rapid NPI and flexible production ramp up. Together with our regional manufacturing footprint, we provide a seamless pathway from development to mass production.
