Decentralise Medical Devices

Engineering Point-of-Care and Remote Diagnostic Solutions

Decentralised medical devices are designed to move diagnostics and care closer to the patient—outside traditional hospital or lab settings. These include portable, point-of-care, and home-use devices that enable faster results, remote monitoring, and more accessible healthcare.

They support trends like telehealth and personalized medicine by reducing reliance on centralized facilities, improving turnaround time, and expanding reach—especially in resource-limited or remote environments.

Use Cases

Fluorescence Immunoassy Analyzer

A compact analyzer designed for rapid, point-of-care diagnostics. It is equipped with an intuitive interface that can provide multiple test modes (standard, random, and emergency) and utilizes RFID-enabled reagent cards, barcode reading for automatic calibration, and consumable test cassettes.

The testing process is simple and efficient, involving sample collection (serum, plasma, or whole blood), mixing, dispensing 20–200 µL into a cassette, and obtaining results within 3–15 minutes.
